This has been one crazy week, hasn’t it? Emotions all over… All I have to say (I shared a bit more in yesterdays VIP email – if you’re not on my list, enter your name and email at the top of my site) is THIS: I love you guys, and appreciate you SO much.
This is a place to belong. A place to walk away feeling FREE to be yourself. Feeling better than when you came. At least, that’s my hope! Alright, now that I’ve shared my love for all of you… let’s dive into daily eats. Keeping my promise to you all to do more of these posts!
Befffffore we dive in, I want to remind us all that the purpose of sharing these posts is to encourage (which I learned means to *give* *courage*) you to listen to YOUR body and prove to you that you don’t have to be tied to any strict rules or restrictive behaviors around food to feel good. And that you will in fact feel even BETTER if you learn to listen to YOUR BODY vs. picking up a set of rules that work for someone else. Preeeeetty crazy right? But true!
Breakfast yesterday was two over-medium eggs & toast with coffee (coconut milk & organic cane sugar, because sometime you just want the real stuff!). By the way, Sim bought me this mug for my birthday and I love it. And also by the way, am I the only one who gets excited about end pieces of toast? They’re the best!
Lunch was leftovers from the night before when Marco & I had made stir-fry with chicken, veggies, and rice noodles. Yum, yum, yum. This was incredible, and so easy. In this photo, I had run out of noodles (we ate them all the night before) so these are actually rice RAMEN noodles from this little packet. So good!
After lunch, I met up with Asia and we got coffee & worked from her office in downtown SLO. On our way to the office, we passed by Pizza Solo where they were handing out free breadsticks samples & so I enjoyed on of those while we worked, too. So good! And perfect because I was a little bit hungry anyyyyyway!
After we worked and had coffee…. we… wait, moment of *I had so much coffee yesterday*…got MORE coffee because we wanted to try a holiday drink. AND they were two for one. So, we each got a chestnut praline drink and they were so yummy.
After Starbs, we went back to my house, made bacon & goat cheese brussels sprouts, and took them over to our friend Amy’s place who is AirBnB’ing in SLO all month long. SO fun! We ate brussels, talked about biz, and had some good ol’ girl time.
When I got back home, I straighten up the house, set up for my next day, and then went to pick up M from work. We’ve got one car right now because we left our truck/camper set up in Ventura this week.
Things I set up for the next day: my quiet time basket (which, by the way you guys, you can watch THIS video on what it includes, but if you do, come back to the blog and let me know if you’d like to see MORE videos because I’m feeling like I’d really like to do them!), coffee, and clothes for the next day.
By the time Marco and I got home from me picking him up from work, I was starved. So, I made us each a little plate of nacho’s. How fun, right? Marco wanted simple chips & cheese, and I wanted to make mine a little extra special.
So I added goat cheese, green onions, and cilantro. Such simple things to add, but taking the time to do so made all the difference – I think enjoyed them 10x as much!
Okay, so that’s all for daily eats! I hope this post inspired you and showed you that you TOO can listen to your body and eat in a way that allows you to feel free & good in your body. I promise, it’s possible for you, too!
To end, on Monday, I’ll be sharing a post about my current openings for health coaching because I just had THREE spaces open up! Spots are first come first serve, so if you’d like to beat the crowd and get info on working with me before then, enter your name & email here.
Cannot wait to meet my new girls, and to ALL of you, thank you for being here today!
