Good afternoon everyone! Hope you’re all enjoying your day! I’m here to share with you my daily eats from yesterday.
Monday morning was a little bit emotional for me, so I didn’t have much of an appetite. To put something in my stomach, I mixed a scoop of Protein Powder with water and had that.
I was following the rule of only eating when calm. I heard this on Hungry for Change and it’s stuck with me since. Food doesn’t make your emotions/troubles disappear. It only numbs them for a moment, and then you’re left with your emotions. What really helps is a good cry and someone to talk to. Thankful I had my Mom and my sweet Marco.
After that I took a nice, long, relaxing walk with my Mom.
When we got home I made us an all fruit & water smoothie using banana, mango, strawberries, and peaches. So yummy!
For a late lunch, I made Marco and I open faced turkey sandwiches on Ezekiel Bread
For dinner, my parents made awesome burgers! I skipped the cheese, added tons of veggies, and had a few multi-grain seed chips on the side with lots of salad
My Petite Treat was Fro-Yo with my aunts and cousins for Bachelor night. This was so fun We went to Menchies, picked up frozen yogurt, went back to my cousins house, and all cuddled up on the couch watching the Bachelor. There was a glass of wine had too
