So, this is what I am doing right now.
Hard times have come. And they are crazy hard, but I am hanging in.
“Now is your time of grief, but I will see you again, and you will rejoice, and no one will take away your joy.” -John 16:22.
I am allowing myself to grieve, allowing myself to keep my commitments, go to work, do my job, see my friends, see my family.. Enjoy the people I am around…
I’m not ready to share what’s going on, but I can tell you, food, seems so secondary right now. I hardly want to touch it. I’m eating, and it’s healthy, but honestly, I can’t bring myself to get on the internet and talk about what’s been on my plate, when there is so much more heavily laden on my heart.
The next 4 days, I’ll be at work. I mean that very literally. This is the busiest week I’ve had this year. I’m going to get through these next four days, and check back this Sunday.
Let me introduce you to primary food.
- physical activity
- home cooking
- home environment
- social life
There are aspects, “primary foods,” in my life right now, that have just been thrown far off kilter, and for good reasons. I need time to adjust. Time to grieve. Time to deal with what’s going on, before it’s shared with the outside circle.
This post may seem vague, and it probably is, but believe me when I say for me, that’s necessary.
I just want you all to know that I love you, appreciate your support, your constant reading, your many words of encouragement, your checking in, your presence… I’ll be back around Sunday…
