Good morning beauties!
How did you like yesterday’s blog post? What I got from the comments, was that it was helpful. I sure hope so
I am going to be using the same five questions today, as I finish talking about how I listened to my body yesterday, and ate what I wanted.
Speaking of eating what you what, there is something else that goes along with that. Eating when you are hungry.
Try eating when you are hungry the next few days. Wait until your body tells you that you are hungry. Give up the idea of breakfast, lunch and dinner. Just eat when you are hungry, and eat what you want. Write down what you notice about your body. For example, here’s what I notice:
- Food tastes better
- I am able to enjoy my food slower
- It’s easier to know when to stop
- I trust myself more, because I’m listening and acknowledging the signals of my body
- When I wasn’t hungry, I found other ways to satisfy my needs
-
I discovered I like smaller portions more because:
- I eat slower to make less food last longer (when you have a plate of heaping food in front of you, the goal seems to be to conquer the plate. When you have a small plate or bowl in front of you, its easier to eat slower because you want the food to last longer.)
- I like to eat more often, when I can (eating less allows me to be hungry every three hours as opposed to every 5 if I ate a big meal)

So, that being said, here is how I ate when I was hungry yesterday
Green smoothie (they are always purple at first. They turn green after being refrigerated over night, haha!

Welp, there was the rest of yesterday. I hope this post inspires you to eat when you are hungry, and treat your body with the respect it deserves today.
Be blessed!

Thank you Carly! That is really good to know. I love posting something encouraging along with my eats, so it’s good to know that my readers are enjoying it
My new favorite afternoon treat. Whole foods now sells Green Tea Matche which is a powered green tea. I put a tsp in a large wide mug, head about a cup to a cup and half of 30 calorie unsweetened Almond Milk and foam with a foamer (available in most Sur de Tab and William Sonoma) stores, pour some of the hot frothy milk into the power, beat gently with foamer, add additional foamed milk. Delicious. Some of the Matche’s are pre-sweetened, I add one packet of stiva or splenda to the milk when foaming and I use unsweetened tea powder. This is also the same technique I use with my morning coffee and hot chocolate. Powder add enough hot liquid to melt then add remaining warm milk… coffee or pre-brewed tea-pour liquids into large mug together for a latte type beverage. I think the frother (foamer) is about 15 dollars, well worth it… one of my favorite kitchen tools.
I love Green Tea! I do not love Splenda though… man, that stuff does not sit well with my tummy! It feels like poison to me
But, I do have one of those foamers! I need to replace the battery. Yum… it’s at my parents house, and now I want to go get it!
