Busy-Bee Monday

Good morning everyone! Hope you had a great Monday. Anyone watch the Bachelor? What did you think?

I watch it weekly with my aunts and cousins. It’s the only show I watch, and although I think it’s totally unrealistic, it’s a fun thing to get together for.

Yesterday, I worked from 7:30-1:45, had counseling from 2-3, worked again from 3:20-8, and met my cousins from 8-11. Can you say busy day?

I woke Monday morning still feeling full from The Oscars snacks. Yucky. I don’t like feeling full when I wake up.

Around 9:30 I had this Trader Joe’s Breakfast Burrito. The family I was babysitting for offered it to me, and once I was hungry it sounded great.

I ate 3/4 of this burrito, because then end was too cooked. I think that happens to frozen foods sometimes.

For lunch, I packed food to make a burrito bowl

1st container: romaine lettuce, olives, tomato

2nd container: half cup brown rice, half cup black beans, 6 oz of steamed chicken

At about 12:30 I headed up the rice, black beans, and chicken, and added the salad mix on top. I threw in a little soy sauce, and had myself a yummy lunch. If my avocados were ripe, I would add avo too :)

About an hour after lunch, I was getting hungry again (odd?) so I had my bottle of Green Smoothie

In this blender I put:

  • 1/4 cup organic apple juice
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 1 large banana
  • 2 cups organic spinach
  • 1/2 cup organic blueberries
  • 1/2 cup organic raspberries
  • 1/2 organic pear
  • 2 tbsp. ground flaxseed
  • Water until it covers everything (I like thinned out smoothies)

I saved my Trader Joe’s smoothie bottle to take my own Green Smoothies on the go

Around 4:30, I sat down, had some tea, and the blueberries/grapes that I packed in my lunch

I also had an emergen-c

At about 7:00, I had dinner, which was not pictured. I totally forgot, because I was watching a house of five (wonderful) girls.

For dinner, they had pepperoni pizza. Instead of having the pizza (it didn’t sound good – if it were veggie, then we would have been talkin’) I made myself a simple turkey sandwich: whole wheat bread, mayo, mustard, turkey, and pickles. I had broccoli and apple slices on the side.

Last night, after I got off, my cousins and aunts got together to watch the Bachelor. Instead of snacking for two hours like we usually do when we bring a whole table full of snacks, we decided to go each get one cup of fro yo. Aside from the fro-yo, I also had two homemade chocolate chips cookies. Yes, my stomach was killing me last night. But TOM told me to ;)

Hopefully you all know what I mean when I say TOM by now ;)

When I got home, I noticed that my bed was unmade.

First thought: “I know I made my bed this morning.”

Second thought: “There is something on my pillow.”

Third thought: “Marco! He did it again.”

“Cause surprises are nice. Can’t go wrong with Dark Chcolate. Love you.” Oh, he knows me well. This went right in the fridge to get nice and chilled, and then next time I am craving something sweet I will enjoy myself some Dark Chocolate.

Have a great day!

I love your relationship with your Marco… it reminds me of my relationship with my hubby Ben. ♡

Hi, I was wondering if you ever have problems with bingeing? Would you ever consider writing a post that focused on it?
